Andrea D. Merriman
Mother of Harmony
Andrea has survived several family tragedies. Including losing the life of her teen-age daughter to domestic violence. From this tragedy, was birthed a movement based on hope, harmony and empowerment. This movement brings together women of all ages to discuss change needed over a cup of tea. !
One of the important lessons Andrea learned during her journey is the fact, if you own your power, you own your life. Life ownership will help enable us to have tough conversation and eradicate the violence in our communities. Andrea designed the Jennifer Y. Merriman H.E.L.P.© Program because of the increasing risk of dating and domestic violence. The H.E.L.P. program offers hope, empowerment, life skills and prevention methods to individuals from youth up.
